I have a 2000 and it’s been working for me. go through all your settings and make sure everything is correct. and JIC, only works when the engine is running. *

Just upgraded to 12.1.3 and still no luck.
Wonder if it's because I ordered the "improved" version of the Foseal unit you have.

Please let me know if the replacement unit works for you.
I really want to get this working, as I would much rather use this than spend a ton of money on a scan gauge .

Are you absolutely sure you did a user defined PID and filled out ALL the info correctly?

So the replacement connected fine but I still could not get the Trans Temp working on an iphone or ipad. I'm starting to think it's a Foseal issue

Shame. This seemed like a decent and much cheaper alternative to an SG2.

Yes, I'm 100% sure I filled it out correctly. Did it about 2-3 times now from start to finish without luck. The regular gauges for speed, fuel eco, rpm's all works, but not the user defined PID.
I'm gonna try it again once more tomorrow for good measure. If no luck, I'm returning the Forseal unit.

Yes, this does seem like a much cheaper alternative to the Scan Gauge, hence I'm attempting it first before going any further. I would still much prefer this than the SG2 as I can pull it out and plug it in when ever I need it, otherwise I just have it in my glove box.

I also get the "No data was received" error message. I have a BAFX wifi unit with OBD Fusion on iOS 12.1.3. Other displays appear to be fine.

IPhone Users: OBD2 app with Transmission temps.
weird that some people get this to work and some do not. I can not think of anything else I did to get it to work other than changing the formula for accuracy. Make sure enable commands is on. There might be an issue cause it’s an unsupported PID. that’s all I can think of.

Tried it again today for good measure with no luck.
Enable commands is turned on as well.
Going to return my unit and order the same one from the link shared by the OP and see if that works.
If not , then SG2 seems to be the next option.
