Panhard (Track) Bar Differences

I managed to buy a non abs panhard bar from a junkyard instead of an abs panhard bar. Does anyone know if there will be any issues with just swapping the bars over after putting new whiteline bushings in it?

Any reason I can't grind the bracket off as well? Hopefully someone on here knows the differences of what the rear suspension is with and without ABS.

i think there are only two types of panhard bars for the 1996-2002 4Runner. one type is for those equipped with a LSPV while the other is for those without the LSPV.

The bar for those with LSPV has a bracket with a 2-inch slotted hole. This bracket is located a few inches from the left end of the bar. The other type doesn't have the bracket and except for the bracket, it is essentially the same as the LSPV-type. If your 4Runner has no LSPV, then you can grind off the bracket.

Regarding the ABS, there are also two types of LSPVs. One type is for those with ABS and the other is for those with no ABS.

Excellent! My 4runner doesn't have the LSPV but it seems I could just not even grind it off since it doesn't seem to matter. But perhaps I will just to not have an extra bracket sticking out.
