Panhard bar correction

I have a 2 in lift and attached is a pic of my panhard bar. Will it be beneficial to put eimkeith panhard bar correction kit on?

Yes.

(but don't take my word for it) ;)

in all seriousness, I designed the pck for folks like you and I who have 2-2.5" of lift. the core of the kit is the axle-side bracket which lifts the panhard 2" - the frame side bracket is for the rest of the planet that likes 3+

Still a correct one though.

I've said this a lot but I'll say it again.

The PCK should be a must have for any lifted rig. It greatly improves the handling of the rear of the vehicle and also returns you to stock geometry.

Do it.

I'm on third kit now, money well spent if you want to keep stock geometry after lift.

Since I have a 2-2.5 lift can I just order the axle side bracket or does it come as a kit?

It comes as a kit. The frame side allows the use of the stock hole, though - so you can run that side at zero lift but still have the additional height selectability down the road when/if you need it.

What is the ideal positioning of the panhard bar when the truck is level? Does it need to be horizontal or slightly lower than that?

My truck is not lifted (just 99 coils) and for some reason the angle looks similar to the OPs picture. It's just a slight upward angle left-to-right.

Mine is the same, 99 tall springs and no lifts, but the pandhard bar sits at an angle like the OP. I remember it took an enormous effort to get the pan hard bar bolts to line up right after getting the 99 springs installed.

I also find a slight pull to right with proper alignment from Firestone.

My Landcruiser 100 has its pandhard bar at an angle as well and drives straight.

Any suggestions?

Measure to see if body is centered on axle, that's where it shows up.
As you lift stock bar gets too short, hence the trouble with bolts and holes.
Haven't checked to see if 99 runners have different bar than others.
The PCK allowed me to use stock bar, axle is centered bar is level 3" OME 890's.

Get a real alignment. There is no such thing as a proper Firestone alignment...

The panhard bar is not the issue for L/R pulling.

Horizontal is best. I'd measure it at regular load, 1/2 tank of gas.

If it were my rig then I wouldn't worry about it on such a minor lift but I would loosen and retorque the trackbar bolts to get the slight twist out of the rubber bushings.

I have 1.5" out back and it is of no concern to me.
