Cool value of rare 4runner

Greetings,
I have a value question: I have a 2000 4Runner that has been in the family for at least 10 years. It has been a second vehicle for my family and then for my mother; a year ago I purchased it back from my mom and did all the maintenance and prepped it for my daughter to drive when she turns 16, but have since changed my mind about that. I am considering selling it and was doing some research and figured out that it is a HIGHLANDER edition (have the original window sticker). Even better it only has 101,000 miles on it.
Mechanically it is stock and 10/10; belts/ hoses/ fluids/ timing chain/ thermostat, etc was all done one year ago. Manual transmission/ 4x4; no e-locker.
Interior is 9.5/10, almost perfect. The back cup holder is broken. Seats pristine.
Exterior is 8.5/ 10, less than normal wear and tear.
New tires, new Kenwood stereo, new Kicker subwoofer, weather tech all around,
everything works. How in the world do I know what this is worth? And where could I sell it? I live in South Texas, and I doubt people here would be terribly impressed with the Highlander edition. Thanks for the input!

Your truck sounds really nice!! There are some guys on here that are always watching what's for sale and how much, I'm interested to hear what they have to say too! I'm about to sell my 1998 here in San Diego. I don't think the Blue Book values these as much as they are valued by the people wanting a GOOD one!

Interesting, this might be for me as well! Does BaT mean they come and pick it up from you after they win the auction?

You have to join and then submit your truck for consideration. Apparently they do not take every car , but with the 4runners selling so well there, I can't imagine it being an issue.

$99 to sell it and the buyer pays a commission as well to BAT

Lot of $$$ over there being spent on some beautiful vehicles,

They like lots of good pics,,, cell phone shots won't cut it. More info the better,

Theres one live now with 300K + on it with some needed maintenance, thats not gonna sell for 14K thats for sure.

No Reserve: 2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Sport for sale on BaT Auctions - ending February 7 (Lot #16,145) | Bring a Trailer

BaT seems like a pretty solid place to sell / buy if you got the goods!

A friend told me about them last year and it's pretty addicting to follow the listings.

The USA is HUGE! So the buyers just take into account WHERE the vehicle is and pay to have it shipped to them or travel to pick it up and either trailer it or drive it home??

$9,000 for a '95 on there?! LOL! I got my '98 with 105K on it for $6,000! it had a 100K Toyota service agreement, so everything done on time at the dealer before me too!

1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 5-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $9,000 on February 16, 2018 (Lot #8,178) | Bring a Trailer

I haven’t personally purchased a car on BaT, but I think it’s all the buyers responsibility from what I read… you just need to arrange something with the seller.

You either fly in and drive it back, have it shipped, or… bring a trailer and tow it home.

My friends who shop on BaT are more concerned with finding what they want than the price… Really seems like only mint condition cars really make it onto that site… Def a premium site for buyers and sellers.

Seems CRAZY to me to pay TOP $$$ Premium on a vehicle you can't even inspect yourself.. I wonder what recourse you have over state lines, they can't ALL be represented 100% accurately..

Check out FAQ's on website.
Contact Seller button, request inspection by third party or yourself in person whatever you and seller workout.
