I F***d up. Ripped an ignition coil wire. Advice?
Was changing out my plugs when I accidentally ripped an ignition coil wire right off the Male input that hooks up to the ignition coil itself. If you check out the pictures itll make more sense. Long story short, I managed to push those two wires back into the Male plug (2 wires positive and negative), and get the 4runner to start again. However, any bump seems like itll knock it out of place and back out. Is there a fix for this? When the wire was pulled, the car would start but die immediately. Need some help as I believe this will be a pain later down the line. Also, two of my spark plugs (drivers side) were soaked in oil on the thread part, what gives? Thanks.

More pics. The 4runner starts up fine but I feel this will leave me stranded eventually after it becomes loose after a while.
In one picture you can see the other ignition coil with this wire hooked up to it as normal

Hard to tell from the pics, but is it a situation where you could snip off that section from a junkyard truck, then strip and solder the wires together, using the 'new' plug to reconnect?

The red/blue is the positive cable and and the grey one is negative and they belong inside the connector that's next to them in my hand. I didnt think of that, going junkyard and the whole resoldering. I did manage to push both back in but I feel eventually theyll pop off again -__-

What do the plugs look like (color, wet/dry) inside the electrode side?

Looks like part of the wire with the blue rubber on it broke inside the connector, not worth trying to push the wires back in at this point IMO. Get a new connector from the junk yard like stated above. Post a pic of the spark plugs.
Edit: unless it just was a bad crimp, might be able to push the piece out of the connector and reattach it to the wire..

I replaced all three cause the locking tabs were brittle and one broke. They are like 6 bucks a piece online from toyota parts deal or camel back toyota.

Only problem with that is if one of the pins is stuck in the old connector the wires won’t go into the new connector properly.

Another option:
6x Ignition Coil Connector Clips Harness 90980-11246 For Toyota MR2 Lexus LS400 | eBay
Check the pic against your plug to confirm.
Although if the terminals are intact, I would just get the new 90980-11246 connector housing from the dealer.

I would solder it. A crimp connector is doable, and would work, but is not the preferred method in that spot (or anywhere) and is apt to cause trouble down the road. But it will get you back on the road.
But if your terminals are intact, odds are they would snap back in to a new OEM housing and then you don't solder or cut anything.
