I got hit from the side this morning, rolled my '98 4runner. I'm sure it is totalled. The only body panel that is not damaged is the passenger door. Funny thing is, rolled it back rubber side down, checked the oil, and it cranked right up. It runs fine, no steering/ braking issues, frame looks straight, drives straight at 65mph. Just put a new timing belt, water pump, new BFG AT's on it, new Tacoma wheels, new brakes. It has 270K miles on it, but my mechanic says I should get twice that. He has offered to buy it everytime I take it to his shop. I have maintained and upgraded multiple things over the years, I know I have 9 to 10 K in it. Should I part it out, or find a entire new body to replace it, or buy another used one and keep mine for spare parts vehicle? It has been the best vehicle I have ever owned in my 58 years on this planet... Advice welcome and encouraged- Thanks in advance...
