Whiteline Panhard Bar Poly Bushings - PLEASED!
I ordered the Whiteline (W83374) poly panhard bushings and did the install yesterday. While I had the PHB off, I cleaned it up, removed a little rust and painted it. The original 19 year old bushings were in there TIGHT.
I used a two jaw puller to crank out the old bushings, cleaned up the inside of the PHB ends, lubed up the bushings and put the bar back in. I can tell a big difference. Highly recommended PM or upgrade. Going to be doing the upper and lower control arms in the back next week using the same jaw-puller method. It only took about 5 minutes to get both of the old bushings out! Cheaper than a machine shop!

I did this 2 weeks ago but with Energy Suspension poly bushings, I also cleaned up and painted the Panhard Bar while it was out, I have since bought the PCK which I'll be installing soon.
At the same time I did the Rear Upper/Lower LCA's and installed Air Lift bags along with Bilstein 5100's, really rejuvenated the rear of the truck, just drove it 3000 miles last week to Florida and back and it rode great, all my bushings were original too.
I have the front LCA's to do now, I used my 12 ton press with sleeves, I have done all bushings on other vehicles before with just random sockets as receiver and press in my 8" bench vise.

I've got front and rear sway bar bushings and rack and pinion bushings to do. Will look into these panhard bar ones as well. Thanks for the post!

Looks like I will have to add these to the list.
I recently replaced both upper and lower rear control arm bushings with the Whitelines. A press was incredibly helpful in the removal of the original bushings. I also did rear sway bar and end link bushings as well.
I have a set of 4R specific 5100s and 906s to install soon and will add these to complete the rear suspension overhaul. If needed, I have an eimkeith set of brackets to install as well.
Thanks for the review and info.

I'm happy they worked out. I've had my set in my parts pile for awhile. I've been holding off because i haven't heard too much feedback on them. what noticeable differences did you feel.

UPDATE: I replaced the rear upper control arm bushings this weekend. Took them out, got the old dry/hard bushings out, cleaned them up, painted them and put in the new Whiteline bushings. Man - I can tell a big difference when towing a trailer. Will do the lowers probably this weekend.
One thing; I made sure to really clean the openings for the bushing. Had a wire wheel brush that just fit a little snug and cleaned them up right! I am impressed with the poly bushings. Of course, in a 19-20 year old rig, replacing the original bushings with bubble gum would be an improvement...LOL
I also saw where some people say not to lubricate anything but the center metal tube in the bushing. I lubricated everything except for the "face" of the bushing. If I ever have to take them out, I want them to com out easier than the originals did. (They were a pain in the butt!)

Could you describe in detail how you removed the old panhard bar bushings. I was inspired by you experience and will replace my panhard bar bushings with Whiteline this weekend. I have a good idea how I plan to remove the old bushings with the two jaw puller but, I'd like to know more in case I'm missing something.

Just stick them in a hydraulic press or in a bench vise and press away, maybe blast a little heat if need be, they should come out no problem. Another trick to get stubborn bushings out is to drill a series of holes around the center to help break out the bulk of it, and if the rest doesn't fall out just loop a hacksaw through and give it a quick cut.
When installing poly bushings, too much grease it better than too little. Put a fat layer everywhere you can - anywhere the bushing makes contact with the bar - if it's not squeezing excess out the sides, you didn't put enough. When poly bushings are too dry, they squeak horribly

Thanks man! Currently I’m replacing all the bushings on my front end, I’m dreading the LCA bushings. I accidentally ordered the rear pan hard bushings on Amazon but figured I would swap them out. Thanks for the good info!

Panhard bar and rear upper trailing arms have been the easiest to replace for me. Pop out, grease up, pop in. No metal sleeve or anything to deal with, unlike some parts

I haven't. I believe energy suspension has the whole kit. Whiteline Poly Bushings are recommended for the LCAs. Other than that, energy suspension all around for me.

Summit racing has them if you need them:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/w...05ba2a4b73eb8e
I have been noticing that as I compare Amazon pricing, I am able to find better pricing much of the time and also with free shipping. Hope this link helps. Good luck on the project!
