Official 3rd gen 4Runners on 37's Pic Thread

Since there is a thread for 35's I thought I would get one going for the 37's crowd.

Looks like your rocking the stock lower arms at least. What are you running for your suspension, especially for the front?

Much better since I swapped to 5.29s. Still doesn't like the mountain passes but the only time it did like passes was when I first got it and it had 225/75/15 tires. It gets driven everywhere and has been to Moab/CO and back twice along with lots of other road trips.

Wasn't it cute?

LOL. At least the running boards where off. Mine was bone stock. Now, not so much.

I bet those 37's and twin cases make some pretty hard obstacles almost casual. Keep at it man that rig looks good.

I am hoping the dual cases and 3rz will help keep the CV replacements down. If they start happening to frequently I will have to go another route...

You know as well as I do that the larger reduction and larger tires is gonna play hell on them. I'd rather snap a CV any day over something in the diff though. Wheel smart and see how it pans out but have two spares. lol

I only have 33's with factory Lo and I still have a spare in my rig along with the tools to swap if needed. Luckily, so far, it hasn't been. I gotta be honest though, for what I want to do with this thing 37's would be perfect. But then I'd have the exact dilemma your facing. Keep the IFS or SAS it. Keeping the IFS is way cheaper and I don't mind how it wheels so keep us posted.
