Budget ($29) all weather floor mats

Hey yall, thought I'd share a recommendation for some cheap but good quality all weather floormats I just installed.

I'd been considering dropping some coin on a set of Weathertech digital fit floor liners for a few weeks but was hesitating at the price (over $100 for just the fronts). One day, my wife was at Costco and noticed a set of Weathertech "trim to fit" floormats bought them for me to try out. She said she paid $20 on sale for them. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I liked the weight and feel of the material when I checked them out. They are fairly heavy and more flexible than a set of cheap generic all weather mats I've had in the past.

For install, I traced my OEM carpetted floormats over the weathertechs with a silver pen and cut them to the same size/shape with some scissors. I'm really pleased with how they turned out for the price! They won't hold gallons of water like the floor liners, but for muddy shoes/boots when offroading they should work just fine. They also don't utilize the factory retention hook. They come with 2 3" diameter "spike disks" that snap into the bottom of the driver size mat. The factory hook can be swiveled around out of the way like you can see in my below pics.

Probably my only complaint is that the rears are slightly narrower than the stock rear mats...maybe 1" narrower. However I rarely have people in the back of my vehicles, so they mainly serve to keep things I put in the rear footwells from sliding around.

For the price I can happily live with that.

They appear to be priced around $49 MSRP,

But Costco has them for $29. My wife said she got them for $20. Either way, it seems like a great price.

I did the trimmable motor trend ones on amazon and like them so far. i was able to leave a little extra and tuck it under the trim to hold them in place

I picked these up shortly after I bought mine since the oem ones were trash. Got em from the home depot for $30! I didnt bother to trim them down I just figured it's more carpet protection. They are pretty heavy but flexible and wash and dry really easily.
