Question Front Bumper Replacement

I have a big dent on my front bumper and it looks horrible. I was wondering you guys know how hard it is to replace? Is it as simple as taking off a few bolts, or do I need to do more?

I found some chrome bumpers for sale on eBay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=330105685902, would that work?

Thanks in advance!

Very easy! I recently replaced my ft. bumper, bumper filler, valence & both bumper brackets w/ little difficulty. Be sure & eyeball your mounting brackets when you get the bumper off, to make sure they didn't get tweaked by whatever caused the dent in yours. Both mine needed to be replaced from just a 5MPH collision w/ a pole in a parking garage, FWIW.

Hope this helps!

I'm with you. I have a small dent in the front bumper and two small ones in the rear. The dents in the rear look the worst though. The previous owner must have backed into a trailor because the worst dent is directly above where the ball goes. I just bought my 97 4Runner and these dents are bugging me among many other cosmetic defects. The previous owner must have put this truck through hell..lol.

Ebay will be your friend...these parts are cheap (ft/rr bumpers, brackets etc.) And, held up next to the originals, I couldn't really see a difference.

Help me Help You! :D

Hi everyone, i love this forum but it just lacks Potential Input from its users. I would like to see someone really do a replacement on their bumper and post pix of it to help others.
My from bumper was hit from passenger side by an A**H*** last month. And the Insurance companies are still fighting over it. So i though i should just buy one off of eBay and put it on myself. But money is funny right now, so i'll wait. But whenever i will do the replacement, i'll make sure to put pix to show what i did.
If you want, i have another thread on how to clean your A/C's blower fan step by step w/pix. Search for "Clean Blower Fan" and look for my username you'll see.
So, if some one do replace their bumper, please try to take some pix of under/behind bumper parts that may be crucial. Thnx ya'all. Good luck

I havent searched for bumper replacement pics myself, but if there arent any it will be because its do damn simple to do! Just unclip the turn signals and unbolt the bumper. Thats it.
BTW, you can have mine for $200, complete, good condition.
