Question Transmission torque converter seal

Ok I have searched for this silly part. I know the transmission has one and I know it as the torque converter seal on the automatic transmission in the 2000 with the v6 5vzfe engine. I called the dealer and they sold me o-ring for the pump not seal that is on the input shaft that the torque counter slides on. Any thoughts on where I can get this seal? I was hoping to keep it Toyota seal.

This is the correct updated seal part number.

90311-38020

I purchased from Amazon when I replaced my torque converter and put in a shift kit on my A340F. Vague info out there, but it takes a bit of research. The first review on Amazon is from me. This is the correct seal you're looking for.

Thank you. I’ve been searching everywhere and the dealer was no help. Should I put in the pump o-ring or am I getting into a big ole can of worms?

Might be time for a new dealer..

Clearly shows it in the parts catalog serviced separately.

I'd just put in the front pump seal. Just leave well enough alone.

So you would or would not do the o-ring for the pump? I’m defined doing the torque converter seal. Never done the o-ring pump seal

I wouldn't bother doing the pump o-ring.
You don't have the unbolt the pump from the assembly.

Just do the pump seal.
