Mine sat more or less for 5yrs. I did have tranny fluid chgd a few months prior to it sitting.
It had minimal use as I was on other side of country and my buddy did drive it very sparingly. 5yrs ltr hopped on a plane and drove it back approx. 3500miles and she purred like a kitten whole time. Im no mechanic but if your fluid looks good and you chk it per your owners manual, I would think you'd be good.
Like I said, Im no mechanic but it's an example with no issues.
