Heal up the knee! I had ACL/MCL back in 2012 and 3 surgeries later it's still never been the same.
New wheels look great!

Fridge setup + small updates

small little update. i just got an 50QT ARB fridge/freezer. i knew my tiny redtop battery would get annihilated instantly. so, i forked the wallet out and did things the right way.

IMG_2799
IMG_2796

i upgraded to the Northstar 27F battery. for $400, it came in with a 5 year battery warranty so it gives me some hope- really hoping i dont run into issues down the road (mainly in wintertime when im skiing in the middle of absolute nowhere) luckily i did not need to install a custom battery tie-down as this barely fits and its going nowhere. please dont mind the very ugly 2 red wires.. ill sheath them soon. i installed the powersource to the ARB fridge using ARB's install kit with basic 10 gauge wire and a custom adapter that the fridges use for 12v source. i hard wired it directly to the battery and fished it through the cab and to the rear panel behind the seats- turned out very clean and professional as always (i love wiring)

on the second hand, snow wheeling in idaho left me with a blown line and broken fairlead.. replaced the line for some higher quality synthetic rope, and finally installed the fairlead after a couple of weeks. i had to find some square nuts to fit in the mounting plate of the x20 winch.

IMG_2787

im still waiting on a lot of goodies due to carona virus but ill be SURE to post after i get everything sorted out and on heres a little sneakpeak

IMG_2794

lastly, i finally got around to installing my emkeith PCK kit. super easy to do. i plated the top mount and welded in the middle of the sides of plate for stress relieve when i get to JUMPING this bad girl you can really see the damage of what SLC winter had did to me. while in alaska, you could lick the frame and have a clean tongue afterwards! since SLC and the red clay of arizona really has made a difference to the frame, im going to address this soon..

i did more investigating and found out that the 210's are similar to a 7.5 wrap that Sonoran steel uses, just i think 30lbs different in weight holding, and also not variable spring weight.. the part number Sonoran uses is (48131-6A570) and i assume if you use a stiffer shock it would help with carrying the load, thus a safe an known shock is the black tokico. (48531-69417) the end total for this setup online is $367.30 after shipping fees.. the only issue is that if im not mistaken it does have driver lean and need a 1/2" spacer for just the driver side.

i may just be pulling the trigger as i think im about to really add some weight in the next 2 weeks with a sleeping platform/drawer system..

1994 LC
Front right 48131-6A570 18.7 inches
Front left 48131-6A480 19.5 inches

91 LC without alumn wheel
Front right 48131-60230 20.5 inches
Front left 48131-60810 21 inches
91 LC with alumn wheel
Front right 48131-60260 20.9 inches
Front left 48131-60820 21.1 inches

dobinson 210V

475mm (one side) = 18.7inch
185mm (other side) = 19.1 inch

with that being said, theres a .4 inch difference (3/8s difference).. i have a lil skips gas tank skid so i think with the 55 lbs it should bring it down to atleast a 1/4 inch difference.. i think im going to pull the trigger and proceed with the 1994 LC springs

Drawer system, rock lights, and bumptops.

bit of a bigger post..

i installed some RGD rock lights specifically for camping and obviously if i go night wheeling.. i had a huge debate with myself whether or not to just get white LED only or the RGB's.. i never dealt with an RGB light so i figured why not and went on with it. installed 8 rock lights total facing the ground for actual ground visability rather than sticking them in my wheel wells.

IMG_2919
IMG_2916
IMG_2915

next up was that i had purchased a system ive been wanting for quite some time but never got around to. in order for me to get that done, i really wanted to get something out of the way first..
in phoenix, AZ i got my rear hatch tined 5% with ceramic coated tint to keep from people snooping in the back, and to darken up my rear section. i also been eying on a product and figured id go full send and completely wrap my rear quarter window with matte black 3M vinyl. this will also protect from light getting in the back of vehicle also deturring from people snooping around.

IMG_2944
IMG_2946

now that is all done, its time to run down to tuscon. i have been talking to a guy by the name of mike mckinsey that is in a few offroad groups that builds drawer systems for toyotas. his prices were insanely reasonable and super hard to beat compared to other systems so i figured supporting local businesses would be great. behold the mckinsey craft drawer system

IMG_2936

i stated i needed a cutting board and a sleeping platform because i live in the 4runner. he got me hooked up with a very clean and well built system. this thing is tough.. the platform is easily removable incase i need to put the seat back up or get the bottle jack.. Oh and remember that product ive been "eyeing on"?? this is what im talking about

IMG_2949

ive been also talking to brian with outbound nevada with a new version of rago's modular panels. these are a different design being shorter, closer to the panel, and with his logo. these are a lot cheaper than ragos along with not having ot wait 8 weeks.. i will be puting camping related stuff on this for more space..

I can't find the name outbound_nevada on the search function. Do you have any other way of contacting him about his mod panels?
