Mysterious Leak Behind Transmission Dipstick

New owner, strange day.

After a seafoam treatment via gas tank / crank case / throttle body, I did an oil change. Smooth sailing.

Drove to the airport, parked, notice fluid on the rear bumper, look under the vehicle and see a big leak under the passenger side of the engine bay. It was mostly clear and didn't have any strong oder.

I think the source of the leak was this valve behind the transmission dipstick. I've been going through the manual and this forum trying to figure out what this valve is for, hoping I can get some help. What dumped out?

I had to hop on a plane 30 min after seeing this leak so hopefully when I land I can have someone meet me at the airport with fluids.

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure it's not the AC condensate drain?

Looking into that, seems to be it! More fluid than I had ever seen before come out of the truck after driving with AC, but it's only been a week so learning as I go.

Thank you!

The AC drain may have been plugged up then it finally cleared up and drained all the water out at once. Are your carpets on the passenger side wet at all? I see you're in New Orleans so I'm assuming it's humid AF, everything is probably fine.

Thankfully your clear liquid was just water so you should be good to go.

Yup hot and humid season. Didn't get a chance to check the carpets. I did hear a clanking and I wonder if the metal elbow that usually sits on there fell off amidst the purge.
