Part Number Check for Multi Mode Tcase Module

Hello all,

I have a line on a multi mode J shift tcase that I'd like to get to swap into my Single cab SX v6 5spd Tacoma. Think it'll be fun as its my DD with AWD and a turbo, better than a subie anyways

However, the Tcase i know i can get doesn't have the brain. I've done some looking and think this is the right PN

89533-35070

Can anyone with a 99-00 J shift Multi Mode Tcase confirm this PN for me?

would require looking under the driver side kick panel I believe.

Thanks!

I think this is the controller for the rear locker. It is not the one for the transfer case. The one I think it is, is 8953335170. There two kinds of multimodes. 1 is a j shift, and the other is a 'i' shift. Not sure tho if the part number is the same for both, as the j shift one controls a vacuum front diff ADD, and the 'i' shift controls an electric front diff ADD. The wiring is a bit different.

Little googling shows the 5170 one to be for 01-02s
