My reasoning is because it has 230k miles on the front springs, ive already replaced ev bushing in the susupension, many of which were highly deteriorated, and I know how I drive my truck. So to now start doing more back country stuff with a loaded trailer, well....it's piece of mind. An extra $200-300 is entirely worth it.
I'm not doing this for lift and chose the 99's because toyota isn't selling 98 springs anymore. So how long before '99 talls aren't available? Seems prudent to me.
