It's likely just an Aisin sticker on someone else's fluid. T-IV is nothing special, even when compared to Dexron 3. Tons of Euro and Japanese cars use it under the spec of JWS 3309. When I had a Volvo 850 T5 the original spec fluid for that bulletproof aisin box was Dexron, but eventually Volvo replaced that original spec with 3309. Actually stayed red longer than with plain jane Dexron as well.
But yeah WS in an A340 is way too thin. You never know something can go wrong in communication.
