what's wrong?

I browsed the forum but couldn't find any info on how much it costs to get the o2 sensor replace. My car also idles funny and jumps around during cold starts and sometimes at stops. My check engine light just came on recently but I'm tryin to figure some cheaper options I can do myself before having to pay a TON at the dealer. Any suggestions? Thanks.

make sure that the o2 sensor is the problem. If your vehicle is older than 2000 or 2001 the front sensor is no longer an o2 sensor rather an air/fuel ration sensor and is more expensive and can not be substituted. I just changed the front sensor on my Tacoma and it took probably 20 minutes. I soaked the two studs with penatrating oil for a few days and they came off without any problems.

Thanks so much for the response guys. It's a 99 limited so I'll look into the "air/fuel ration" sensor. Also gonna change the spark plugs too. Hopefully that's all it is. Again, thanks for the help.
