Anyone had a tru-cool leak?

So thankfully but sadly I was informed by my mechanic that my tru-cool cooler was leaking from the fins, and fairly badly. It is a small but constant stream. I sent a message to the seller since I'm pretty sure it hasn't even been 30 days...but I haven't heard back yet and I'm really hoping that all that goes smoothly...

Still a complete pain and the 4runner is grounded until this is replaced.

Has anyone else ever had this happen? Is this common or...rare?

Sure a rock didn’t cause the leak?

You didn’t see any ATF on the ground to clue you in? How was the tranny shifting?

Buy another one such as the 4589 and call it a day. Chalk it up to bad luck.

I don't think so I can't actually see any damage, and I haven't actually taken her on any trails yet. She isn't currently my daily driver so she really hasn't driven very far.

The power steering rack leaks, and I just had it flushed so the small amount of fluid I saw I didn't question. It also only leaks when running from what I can see so there really was very little in the garage. Shifting wise she was fine, they did top her off though.

I'm certainly not buying another one when this one isn't even a month old. My hope is they send another so I can swap them, then send back the defective one. Technically I'm still in the return peroid so I feel like it should be easy to get it done

It sounds like this is a rare fluke thenm
