Did a tire rotation last week and started getting some really bad steering wheel vibrations (at speeds as low as 25-35mph). Turned out my (25 year old, original) rims were super bent and the tire rotation had coincidentally put the two worst offenders on the front.
Big fan of "don't change a good thing" so picked up a set of remanufactured 16" OEM tri-spokes from
wheelsamerica.com (would recommend, fast shipping, reasonable price) and swapped out the old rims. Truck rides great again. Only annoyance is that now I need to repaint my hubcaps since they stick out like a sore thumb next to the shiny new rims.
