Wheel spacers, thought and opinions, I'll explain

Have a 2k1 sr54wd. Doing full Eibach pro stage 1 kit and getting FN FX TRD Pro's in 17x8 with 2857017 Nitto Ridge Grappler's. My goal is a more beefier stance since it'll be a daily driver. I want to go with a 1.5" to bring the wheels out some. My plan is to use a hub centric bolt on adapter that is forged to bolt onto the hub, then the wheel. My thoughts are since the rim has such a positive off set I really shouldn't have ball joint and wheel bearing problems. I know I may meet a little resistance on this. My mind isn't totally made up yet, I thought I'd seek some folks who may have done this and see what their experiences are. Again, no wheeling or offroading just a commuter vehicle
