I figured while I had the front reverse clam out I would put in a ECG bushing. for some reason I failed to order the removal tool so because I'm way to impatient to wait for shipping I decided to make my own and as a bonus this time it worked.
I used the longest M12 1.25 I had laying around and welded a M12 nut to a scrap of steel and ground it down until it just slips into the right place under the needle bearing lip.
I also had to thread the entire bolt because of course nobody local (aka home depot) does not have fully threaded M12 1.25 bolts. I had a die on hand and it was that was fun. of course I could have used a different non metric size and just purchased some threaded rod. however that would not be Toyota like. you must suffer in the USA with crappy non metric! said a voice from the clouds.
I'm also wondering if anybody knows the parts # for these special E14 bolts? I can't seem to find them on the parts diagram.
I think there are 4 short ones and 2 long ones (about 100mm I think) see pict.
