Ventilation fans...No Low speed any more

My Gen 3 T4R ventilation fan does not work on it's lowest setting any more.

Is there a fix fo this? Or do I need to look for a rebuild or parts unit. My old

Nissan Hardbody truck at the family place in Vt had the vent fan die altogether,

I had a rebuilt unit put in and it lasted two years and it now only works on the

highest setting .

This is usually a fault in the ceramic resistor which is a separate part. It can be pulled and with a multi-meter the resistances can be checked to confirm this.

Of course, it COULD be the switch, but it is usually the resistor.

For any detailed help, you need to give year and trim level. (digital or manual heat/AC control).

You need a new blower motor resistor. Very easy fix.

Located right behind the glove box. That part number is for an SR5, the Limited (auto AC) resistor might be different.
