Brake pedal goes to floor + dragging?

Hey guys, trying to figure out where to start when I get home later. 3 days ago I noticed something seemed to be dragging on my '00 4Runner; there was a slight change in the normal noise the car makes at highway speeds, it slowed quicker when letting off the gas, and the brake pedal became mushy/went to the floor.

I pulled off of the highway, put the car in park, walked around and inspected each wheel to see if one was red hot (there wasn't one I could ID as being hotter than the others since it was ~100 degrees out) then got back in, engaged the parking brake once or twice thinking maybe something was sticking, and continued on my way.

Since then (for the past 2 days) everything worked fine until a few hours ago. I felt the same dragging sensation, detected the sound/pitch change while change, and the brake pedal would go to the floor like I'd boiled my brake fluid.

I pulled over again and put the back of my hand up to each wheel, and maybe the passenger front was hotter than the others, but not substantially so.

Since I'm at work I only have had time to go down and pump the brake pedal until it's firm with the car off, then hold the brake pedal and turn the car on and feel the brake pressure subside (I believe someone said this was a test for the brake booster?). The pedal stays firm while the car is off, which makes me think it isn't the master cylinder since it's not losing pressure. Brake fluid is at the max line, no visible leaks.

I plan to jack the car up and rotate the wheels to see if I can ID where the drag is coming from, but am interested in hearing any other advice on what to check? I never use the parking brake, and have read about the rear drums needing adjusting occasionally, and am wondering if that could be a probable cause given the issues I'm having?

FYI I pulled the parking brake up and it was fairly firm around ~10 clicks up, but if I really wanted to I was able to get a few more clicks before the parking brake stopped. If it matters, I did this while stationary.

Sounds like one of your front brake calipers are sticking. Easiest way to tell is with a temp gun after they stick again. Hottest one wins! Booster and master sound like they are properly functioning as well.

Just drove it home to swap out cars since I didn't want to drive it while the pedal was going to the floor. Tested out the parking brake and it will not stop the 4Runner even when yanked all the way up. Going to check the bellcrank (I think that's what it's called) and see about adjusting rear brakes when I get home later.

If both bell cranks are moving try using the parking brake a dozen or so times without your foot on the brakes then retest to see if it holds.
