What fuse is it that fixes the clock?

Although the radio(not stock) works. I was so used to my Tacoma's clock because I always run late for work.

it's rarely the fuse

it's likely the clock itself-just replace it or have it fixed if so.

Dude posted up here a few weeks back he does repair these somewhat reasonable priced. Just scan back a few pages for clock threads...

Doh!
Wouldn't hurt to check the fuse first..... do you have an owners manual?

Not positive right off hand, but you can dl the owners manual here....
3rd Gen 4Runner FAQs - IH8MUD.com

More often than not.....the clocks just die on there own, but worth checking the fuses first.

I offer a repair service for the 4Runner clock (as well as several other models).
Check out Auto Clock Repair - Home
I have instructions on how to remove clocks, etc there as well.
Drop me a note if you have any questions, thanks!

Solved: 3rd generation Toyota 4Runner digital clock repair DIY (aka tooth surgery)

The Toyota 4Runner digital clock is tied to the dome-light fuse.

The factory shop manual diagnostic basically says:
- Check the dome lamp fuse ... if that's good ...
- Remove the center cluster and check the voltage at the clock harness connector ...
- If that's good ... buy a new $300 clock.

What I did was re-wire the Toyota digital clock circuit board!

Since I'm new to this forum, I felt I'd give back and write my first DIY on that topic (with 50 annotated pictures!).

Here is my Toyota 4Runner digital clock repair DIY:
- Solved: 3rd generation Toyota 4Runner digital clock repair DIY

Please let me know what you think of it so I can improve my technique.

good tie in to the solve thread

So if it were simply the fuse acting up as originally asked- the dome light would be out also- is that safe to say?
