Window regulator and motor

My driver window regulator is pretty noisy on the way down. I'm thinking it may need to be replaced. Which aftermarket parts have you used and your impression of the quality?

You can remove the door panel and grease the rollers on the regulator and see if that helps. If not, you can actually just replace the motor itself with a used one. Take a motor off the regulator on the driver's rear on a lower mileage junkyard unit and just swap them out. Less work with all the reliability of OEM parts.

Personally, I wouldn't trust an aftermarket part as much as a gently used OEM part.
