Liked the idea of blue silicone but fine print states a10-15% greater water loss over EPDM

Does anyone have an equivalent part number for 87124A (rear heater hose plastic clip) which I broke and have zip tied. Toyota says 87124-35010 is discontinued but the volume of zip ties accumulating under the hood is starting to bother me. I found 87124-42030 but it looks like it's for 2 hoses the same size, but this clip has one large one small hose I think.

yea i've been looking for that too. everywhere i look it says no longer available, its probably not necessary, but i'm trying to stay really stock looking. if i get desparate i'll go to a salvage yard. if you find it let me know! if i find it i'll post the source.

Basically any clip or part that is discontinued, check either ebay (I've bought parts from the UAE before with good luck), or hit up the junk yards.

Thanks, will do same. The extreme temps rated ziptie works fine because it goes over the rubber hose protector thing, but I hate having so much stuff zip tied in there. I would get one from a salvage yard but at this age the engine compartment plastic parts are so brittle they break very easily. The plastic wire harness between the valve covers is the worst, just disintegrates on everyone's first valve cover gasket job. I broke the cruise control cable clip above the MAF too but you can still order those as far as I can tell. Part # for that one is 82711-35490.

I dunno maybe plastic clips from a different climate hold up better, I'll keep a look out at the yard anyway.

I'd suggest also inspecting the hard lines that go under the passenger side to the rear heater and inspect under that silver shield where they end up for corrosion/damage. If those fail you can lose your coolant.
