@rexassian has it now and thinks he should be done by the end of this coming weekend. I've got you next on the list if you still need this. I'll have him send it your way once he's done.

I will be needing this near the end of October to do a rear disc brake conversion, so hopefully that fits into your timeframe

ran into problems with the press this weekend and didn't get the job done. Hoping to get a hold of another press soon and get it done this week. How "pressing" is the timeline here?

Not sure what @ride4x4forlife 's plans are. Hope it shouldn't be an issue for them.

@ride4x4forlife got the tool today from @rexassian . Thank you both for keeping this rolling. I do have anyone else in line, so I'm going to have @ride4x4forlife send it back to me once done. Got the rear disc brake conversion kit waiting for install

FYI, spreadsheet updated.

Sadly, I'm going to have to close this program down. Not because anyone abused the program, but because I somehow hosed the tool yesterday.

I was filming at the time, and yes, I did remove the circlip before attempting to press the outer bearing retainer and bearing. I have video evidence

There seems to be something hanging up the bearing as now it moves with noticeably less smoothness. Not sure what's going on so thinking I'll just cut the retainer off with a Dremel and see if the bearing moves at all

Oh no! You might try contacting the seller directly to see about getting a replacement. I saw someone on ih8mud got his replaced for free from him.

Again, thank you @Bad Luck for the suggestion and I wanted to share the response to my message (and also note the expediency of the reply):

If you don't buy this tool from "donald-the-bonald" on Ebay, then you are doing yourself a great disservice in my opinion. The fakes out there are just that, FAKE! Spend then extra $50 or so and buy something from an American that stands next to their product with pride!!

So fate has intervened and this program will actually continue. Mr. Donald-the-Bonald has sent a warranty replacement for the original tool, but in my haste I purchased another tool from Ebay (a non Donald-the-Bonald version because I'm cheap). So, in my attempt to return that tool, since Mr. Bonald was sending a replacement, they offered me a partial refund and allowed me to keep the tool. Essentially, this other axle tool cost me a total of $35, though I cannot guarantee the quality of it.

What does this mean? This other tool is now offered for permanent loan to the users of this forum, since I now have a second tool from Mr. Bonald's warranty replacement. If you need it, let me know, and I'll get it sent out to you and then you will be responsible for getting it sent to the next person. No more need to track where it is on my part, coordinate the next person in line, etc.

Is the tool available? I've got my axles out and found the dreaded bearing play.

Ah no sweat, I ended up just buying the tool on eBay. The job went great, the tool is amazing. I'm going to offer it into this thread soon just so we have more floating around.
