Power windows working intermittently, need help

My drivers and passenger power windows work most of the time, but sometimes they go dead. Then in a minute or two, boom! They are working again, I pulled the drivers side master witch regulator and checked that the plugs were all tight and they were.

Has anyone experienced this or have any solutions?

I've had this happen on my Hyundai, Sentra and T4R!

I don't know how to explain it best but I'll try (First make sure all connections are snug):
I removed the main cluster of switches (driver door) and carefully dissembled the culprit switch: it's a "rocker" on the inside that wears out or the grease/dirt combo gunks up the works.

I've successfully cleaned and re-lubed those switches on all 3 vehicles.

BUT: the Hyundai got so bad I bought a new cluster with new switches just because I didn't want to deal with it.

I would say that it is one of 2 things:

1) The buttons are extremely warn and no longer making contact.
if the case is black underneath possible cause.

2) You have broken wires in the drivers doors and they are making intermittently.

This is my issue in my 91 Camry. I pulled the harness out of the connector in the side pillar and tested the wires with an ohm meter. They always break in the rubber boot between the door and the pillar and you can splice the bad section out with another wire.

When I replaced the rusted doors I replaced the wire harness with one with good wires.
