Will these work with this mod for a 5th Gen?

For the 5th Gen mod, you might want to try one of our mounts for the Tacoma (below). They use a standoff to hold the mount (instead of being sandwiched between the A-pillar and the handle, like the 3rd Gen 4Runner mounts).

They work great for 1st and 2nd Gen Tacos, and for 3rd Gen Tacos that have the aftermarket A-pillar handle. They also work in the 1st Gen Tundra.

I don't know if they'll point the gauge correctly, because Toyota seems to use different angles for all the A-pillar holes. But you can try, and if it doesn't work, you can return it.

Does a 2 1/16” gauge mount exist, without the Scangauge or ultra gauge mount?

There are A-pillar pods for 2-1/16" gauges. We thought of making something like this, but there didn't seem to be enough takers to make it worthwhile:

Another option is our soon-to-be released phone mounts, which can use the add-on gauge holder:

Do you have any side images of the 2nd photo w/ the ultra gauge and 2 1/16" gauge below it? Just curious how much the gauge sticks out.

Here are a couple of photos to help with that. First is a side view of just the UG installed:

The gauge mount holds the front of the gauge roughly flush with the front of the UG, the rest of the gauge sits further back:
