Sorry about your 4Runner, but glad your wife will be okay. The vehicle is definitely worth parting out. Many good parts on that rig still. As you said scrap value is around $200, but you may be able to sell the whole thing for around $500 or more. I just bought an 01 for $500 with high miles and a bad frame that was being parted out on Facebook Marketplace. The seller had to put it back together for me before I picked it up after not one person showed up to buy the parts he had removed for them.
