So after 10 miles On my new lift I did an inspection and found a small amount of grease getting by my inner cv axle boot on the shaft end. Appears to not be torn, so I’m going to cut the original clamp and clean it up, and re secure it with these clamps I found online. I didn’t want to use a regular hose clamp, zip tie, or any other cheesie fix. These Oem axles have 213k on them, so I’m thinking I should take the time to reboot/ grease them soon. Does anyone know if I can still get oem boot kit still? It’s my understanding that oem boots are still the best option for rebooting? I’ll keep ya posted on how these clamps work.
