I have experience with rebooting CV axles with both OEM and the ORS boots. The ORS boots require you to reuse the wide part of the original boot end that secures to the tulip joint. Stretching that ORS boot over the OEM boot end was a serious fight. Hopefully the CJV boots with the adapter ring are easier than the ORS boots to get in place on the joint.

It requires a bit of work to force the boot over the adapter but it wasn't that bad. I found doing the boot stretch mod with the old CV boot (as done in one of your videos) to be a lot more work and significantly harder to deal with stretching the snap ring over the shaft to install and remove it. Plus it was way way messier to deal with as well. After like 1k miles the boot still ended up splitting. Perhaps I stretched mine just a bit too much and perhaps it'll work a good portion of time but it wasn't working for me.

To me the only right solution is to use these CVJ / ORS boots. I believe they are actually just a CV boot from a specific Porsche but they work great and I haven't had any problems with mine since installing them.
