285 70 17 8" 0 offset wheels rubbing UCA
Just noticed rub marks on both UCA and the inside of my tires
I thought 0 offset wheels would give me enough clearance.
is there something I am missing?
Any help is appreciated.

You got two options here:
Option 1. Get new wheels with a negative offset to get them away from UCA's
Option 2. Use same wheels but get wheel spacers to get them away from UCA's

my tires stick out enough as it is. I actually put spidertrax on with my current set up and they rub like a mother.
Is anyone else running 285 70 17 with 0 offset wheels? any issues?

Bump. Anyone have issues with 0 offset wheels and 285 70 17 rubbing UCA? There is no way I can add a 1.25" wheel spacer on my rig. tires would stick out 3" from fender and rub like a mother. is there something I'm missing. Have stock UCA and alignment shop is able to get it into spec

just fyi I have "thetruckshop / built right" uniball UCAs and I think they're great. Not sure how much lift you have though if you managed to get the 4R in spec when aligning. Might have to go with SPC so you can get multiple adjustment points.

650ish (that included tax)? Had them in stock and I picked them up. Great product though, I have zero complaints.

Not sure I trust the Truck Shop anymore based on the last work I had done with them (almost 5k worth). Their mechanics rush thru the work and leave things unfinished. James is good at bullshiting people.

eh.... I don't buy or use their services very much but both times I thought they did a good job.
Had thetruckshop weld on my panhard correction kit and the welds look good. The UCAs worked fine and are a solid product.
I pretty much do all my own work so there's that.

I wish I had the space and time to do all my stuff.. however new heads is something I would have not tackled myself anyhow. I don't doubt James knows his shit, but if the job is being rushed and things forgotten then knowledge don't mean shit.
