Exclamation Rough Ride after durobumps install, what am I doing wrong?

As the title says, I got my set of durobumps installed and after doing some testing I really don't like how she rides. I've seen so many good comments so I presume I am doing something wrong here.

Setup: 880 and 906 coils, tundra 5100s

Basically before the bumps, my setup was very soft and lazy over large drops and rough terrain. It was great! But now it feels like the minute the axle/arms touch the bumps that my spine is shattered. I am confused as I thought it would be super soft.

I originally ordered the 3.25", or shorter rear bumps, but the maker suggested 5.25" which I reluctantly agreed. Are they too tall for my 2" lift?

As far as the front, there is only say half an inch between the bumps and the frame... Are they too large for my micro lift?

Hmm I just went to their site and the 5.25” ones description says stock to 1.5” lift which I’m pretty sure is not accurate. For some reason I thought they were for 2.5”+ but I can’t remember for certain. Can you tell if it’s mostly the front or the rear that’s giving you the rough ride?

I thought the short ones were for up to 2", and the taller were for greater than 2". But I could be mistaken...

The front jars the most since they have little travel until they hit. The rear has travel but still is stopped somewhat harshly when the contact.

Do they have a break in period?

Don’t think there is a break in. Just to be sure on the fronts you replaced the ones on the rear of the LCA right? Also you lined up the notch on the base of the bumpstop too?

With fresh springs and shocks, shouldn't you not be hitting the bumpstops at all, except when bottoming out the suspension on big hits?

Yes they are on the rear of the front LCA's and facing notch towards the wheel. I'll try to get photo.

Well these bumps are much taller/longer than stock. I'll get a photo to show how little travel there is between then and there frame/axle. Maybe that will help
