Buy entire front seat for swapping
I know there's been a million seat threads but I think my question differs a bit than most. Most people seem to be comfortable with doing an actual leather re-covering of their seats. I'd MUCH rather simply buy an entire front drivers seat and swap it with the bad leather seat. I'm to the point where I don't much care about price, I literally can't find one.
I see plenty of passenger front seats, but no driver front seats. I want power/leather not ripped.
The videos I've seen of people re-covering the leather on the seats makes it look like a total pain in the ass, my seats are also missing some of the foam that has worn away over the years. This is why I want to try just replacing the seat.
I've searched all of the usual places: car-part.com, ebay (not the stupid covers!), local junkyards, not local junkyards (totally willing to pay shipping) but am coming up completely dry. Does anyone have any leads?

pay a shop to re-cover the seats and install new foam or buy the seat from Toyota (if possible). Likewise you can buy new foam from Toyota.
I don't see how this thread differs at all from the other threads.

You'll be extremely lucky/hard pressed to find a decent driver's leather seat, unless you find one that has been reupholstered.
Like APhelps said, I'd take it to an upholstery shop to do the work, either making their own cover or using one of the numerous ebay kits.

How bad do you want nicer seats? I'm down in GA, really need to get on with my BMW seat swap which means these are available... once I have a donor seat base to work with.
Wanna make the drive, hand me some cash, swap the seats and leave your old seats here?
I find them horribly uncomfortable, which is the reason for the swap and sale. Anyway, I'm about an hour south of the Atlanta airport if you want to think on it. They're not going anywhere anytime Real soon, I haven't even finished with my deferred maintenance from buying the 4runner.

Did you already find some BMW seats to swap in? I'm curious what year and model the seats were from and where you bought them from.

BMW E90 3-series Seat Swap
That's the thread that encouraged me, and yeah I've already bought them (hunted CL till some popped up). Mine are the F30 base seats from a 2014 3-series, no lumbar (sadly, never did see any) but heated. Just need the "feet" from some trashed seats, and they bolt in... wiring is a separate issue.

That's one of the seat threads that I have bookmarked. Still debating on whether to redo both front seats w/OEM or replace. The problem I had with my driver seat is the lumbar was stuck all the way out, but I fixed that. Seats are way down on the list of things to do so I've got time to kill.

Finding a intact leather seat with no tears in a part-out or junkyard is like you found out, nearly impossible now. Age & exposure has caused almost all of them to tear. Transplanting the passenger front cushion over will be your fastest route if you are in a hurry.

Interesting. Will a passenger front cushion bolt directly onto the drivers frame?

Yes, the passenger seat foams will work on the drivers side, as will the leather. Thumb through my maintenance thread, I showed almost step by step how to use passenger side parts to fix a drivers side seat.

Didn't work on mine. Only the covers would swap.

It depends on your seat and options. Mine is a non-powered, non-heating seat so I could if I wanted to. My seats are fine though.
