Very sluggish

Have a 02 4runner V6, bought in August with bad engine. Has 154xxx miles.bought a crate long block and had my mechanic put it in. Idles great, revs up good. But driving it's very sluggish. Like it's starving for fuel. Replaced the fuel filter today. No help. It did have about a quarter of a tank of old gas ( bout a year) in it. I put 8 ounces of marvel mystery oil in it and a bottle of heet. Plugs are brand new and wires. Also just went and filled it up with 93 octane fresh gas. Has a check engine light of 1135 code on. Any ideas or info would be appreciated

I would guess A/F sensor. I have not that code myself so... you might want to read up and do a search on that code. Use this search and you will get plenty of info.

P1135=bad heater sensor wiring, connector, sensor itself or ECM if none of the above. Luck and enjoy the Runner!
