I don't understand how companies do it. $120 for that sounds reasonable. I recently purchased some stuff offline shipped CA to PA. I paid $40 to ship it. I went to return it and they wanted $70. The original label said 10x10x10 dimensions at 15lbs. The box was more like 30x30x12 and weighed 40lbs. I ended up just keeping it because it wasn't worth the cost.

I work in shipping. Give me the box weight and dims with postal codes and the method that was used to ship it and I’ll let you know if you were charged above or below the published/ book rate or if it was closer to what we get for our negotiated rates.

Edited my first post, but wanted to put this in as a reply as well:

I did call back and talk to Stephen, the guy I had first talked to and helped me over the phone. He did some checking and found that they were able to fit everything into 2 boxes instead of 3, dropping the shipping to $70. Now THAT's what I had envisioned as a good shipping cost. I'm glad I called back and talked to him. Just wanted to edit this and let everyone know they did right by me.
