To be honest with you I was watching a few including yours!
Haha funny how that works. Your repair videos are top notch and you do a great job on the steps to get the job done.
Thanks for the input!

Think I found my lack of fuel/throttle response issue...Only way to have figured this out was to drop the tank and investigate! Got a new fuel pump, and screen on order along with a new fuel filter. Couldn't believe how nasty the mix of fuel and gunk I got out of the tank was! Thanks for all the replies everyone. Cheers!

Update: Got the new fuel pump kit and fuel filter on Wednesday, wrenched on it Friday night into early Saturday morning and got everything installed and put back together. Started it up and she now revs happily past 2500rpm and has AMAZING throttle response. It feels good to accomplish something and know that your hard work pays off! Gonna keep her on the road for another 200k. Again thanks for all the input and suggestions. Have a awesome rest of the weekend everybody! Cheers.

I think you should consider getting your gas from somewhere else. The stations tank may be very dirty.
Awesome that you finally found the culprit of your troubles.

It was either that (though I'd hope Their filter would catch it before delivery) or the vehicle sat several months with little or no driving - that'll make nasty varnish too.
Luck and enjoy those Runners.

Yeah well seeing how the original owner/PO neglected it wasn't much of a surprise to see it like that. I wouldn't suspect that it was anything I had done because I'm the one who did all the maintenance he put off for so long. For instance the timing belt was still original with 203k on it.
Cheers!

Very typical for PO to neglect all maintenance but the basics. Brakes, tire, oil changes, the occasional air filters.
If your lucky, you get a few that will change the belts and the Timing belts.
That's it. Very common to have original antifreeze, transmission fluid, differential grease, transfer grease and your zerks never hit with a grease gun.

Its just how it is and you have to expect it.

Yeah since I've had it I put 35K on it. I've done timing belt/water pump/tensioner pulley/drive belt job. Changed diff fluid in both diffs/t-case.
New suspension all around. New coolant. New fuel pump. Scheduled oil changes. New tires. New LBJ's. Replaced front and back seats. New driver side door panel. Have a dash I still haven't put in yet. Working clock, digital climate control. Alignment. PCV valve. Brake booster check valve. Catback exhaust. Flushed out the power steering reservoir and refilled with fresh fluid.
Tires rotated. New front and rear sway bar links. CV boots repacked with fresh grease and new boots. Greased U joints at least twice a year. The dash, control arm bushing, rear track bar/upper links, and trans cooler are on the list for next spring. At least I can drive happy knowing all of the important things have been sorted. All in all its all worth the effort even with the mileage it has.

You be surprised what that will do for you.
I have 260 plus on Tetanus 1. I got it when it had 215k on it. Only the basics done and a timing belt.
I just about rebuilt this rig. However, its mostly due to PA chrome [ salt damage]
The drivetrain is all original. This was the first 3rd Gen I rebuilt and it was an experiment. I am not happy with the frame plating. So after my other ones are done. I will redo this frame. I sorta had to throw it together as a needed a winter beater. Currently it's my DD.
