What is this?

Doing rear springs and shocks and found this cable just hanging loose up near the upper driver side shock mount. Looks like it may lead back to the rear locker, but I'm not sure what it's supposed to connect to. It's the cable with the clip and cylinder end with a white dot on it. Anyone know?

It appears to be a breather tube of some sort so I'm guessing it clips up out of the way. It leads back down to the diff, but isn't the main breather line, I have that one extended up. This is a much smaller hard plastic tube, that rubber end with the white dot on it has an "x" cut on the end for air I'm guessing. Does the diff lock have it's own breather or something? I couldn't find anything in the TRSM.

Does anyone know where it's supposed to clip to?

Yes clips to the frame on the bottom. You can see it in the left middle pic. There's a space for it to tuck in.

Thanks, I'll get up under there and see what I can find. The TSRM just says:

"At the time of installation, after installation, check that the breather plug at the end of the breather tube (inside of the LH frame) is not damaged or worn."
