5100 rear shock for 2005+ Tacoma

Has anyone have experience with the 5100 rear shock of the 2005+ Tacoma? does this shock have a softer valving compared to the 1999-2006 Tundra rear 5100?
Compressed length = 14.02"
Extended length = 22.94"
Bilstein p/n = 24-186728

No personal experience, but many report the Tundra rear shocks are already too soft - why would you want to go to the likely even softer Tacoma shocks?

You can get about the same travel numbers from 4th/5th/FJC rear shocks.

Actually, I'm looking for a firmer shock valving but about the same lengths as those of the rear Tundra 5100.

The FJC rear shock is too long for my case.

Thanks.

Yeah, I just checked (and you have already too, I know) and it looks like the compressed length for the 4th/5th/FJC is 14.9", so nearly an inch longer.
