Extra light socket

I was doing the turn signal led conversion on my 3rd. Gen . And as I look up. I saw something that looks like a extra light socket and itís on both sides. Does anyone knows what are they for? FYI I do have factory fog lights and they are connected. TIA

I'm thinking that it's a sort of drain hole but I may be wrong.
