FIFY

Chrome objectively belongs on harleys and old school low riders. Subjectively on everything else.

He turned 16 yesterday and my wife and I totally surprised him and he was beside himself. He's a great kid who works really hard and deserves it.

After MANY hours of research I figured out what lift I wanted and which tire/wheel combo to run. I called Wheelers and the outstanding people there really helped me get exactly what I needed. Also a huge thanks to T4R and it's members, what a wealth of knowledge.

Here's what I ended up with:
Bilstein front and rear
OME 881/890
SPC Upper
Pro Comp AT 285/70r17
Pro Comp Rockwell wheels 17x8.5 0 offset
Replaced LBJ with factory parts
New rack bushings

Here are a few before and after pics:
nice looking truck for a first vehicle. Fun to drive in for his age

Wow, I think this is a great gift for a young 16-year-old guy. I am sure he received incredible emotions and will remember them for the rest of his life because this is his first car! I would also like a beautiful Toyota at 16, any model of any year. But unfortunately, my parents could not provide for me in my teenage years, and I tried to work elsewhere besides studying. But now I'm doing well, and I'm giving my children everything they need. Recently I gave my daughter an unusual gift basket. And I will also buy a beautiful Toyota for my son at 16, but it will only be in 10 years.
