sway bar link bushing question

A Mechanic told me these sway bar bushing mounts are bad, because there is a Hair of a space between the bushing and sway bar. I tried another set but it was the same, should i use a different brand?

I am not sure what you are actually asking...

The OEM bushing works best with OEM sway bar brackets....

Measure your sway bar as I have noticed some come with different size bars.

Good Luck!

I don’t see anything concerning in that picture regarding the bushing mount.

I agree with others. I can show your bad bushing mounts. Those look fairly decent.

thank you for the input, i will try a oem bushing and also measure that sway bar. A mechanic was trying to tell me that the bushing had collapsed because there was a hair of a gap and it didn't fit flush with the bracket.

That bushing is in great shape, looks new. That space is normal. That looks great don't change it.
