Bolt on sliders

Before I get slammed I've searched and searched but all the threads I came across were old and I'm trying to find out if there's anything new out there.

My mall crawler is pretty high and hard for this old man to get in and out of, so I'm looking for a slider style step that is bolt on. If N-fab made something that would be perfect, aggressive looking and plug and play. I'm leaning towards Shrockworks but I've heard not so good stories about their customer service and lots of messed up orders.

Anything else out there now?

I got a modestly custom set of sliders from Shrockworks about 4 years ago (length, body lift, etc). No issues at all. I think I probably had to drill a hole or two, but mostly it used existing holes in the frame (IIRC). They seem plenty stout. I don't regularly drop down onto ledges with them, but I've given them some pretty good nudges.

Mine are angled and tucked in and not good for steps though.

I would even be interested in some nerf bars (just not a Westin type).

Anyone... Anyone... Bueller... Bueller...

White Knuckle makes bolt on with frame drilling

Toyota 4Runner 3rd Generation 1996-2002 Rock Sliders - White Knuckle Off Road Products

I will say this about Shrockworks though. I called some time early spring to inquire on a lead time for a front bumper and was quoted 12 weeks. I later placed an order and waited nervously as I had to pay in full and this was not long after Pilfreybuilt, Moby1 and other companies went belly up.

Well one day I was surprised by a freight delivery driver looking to drop off my bumper. Later when I mounted it I was absolutely blown away by the craftsmanship and beefiness of everything from the bumper to the frame mounts.

My only problem was that there was no communication as far as the status of the bumper or that it had even shipped. While it was a pleasant surprise as it arrived sooner than the quoted delivery date, it would’ve been nice to know it was on the way as there shouldn’t have been anyone home when the freight truck came.

All in all, I’d do business with them again as the quality of product is very high, even after being in business for so long and having such a high demand (I feel many companies would start pumping out products faster as demand increased which would increase the chances for quality to suffer). ShrockWorks just plugs away making their stuff as good as they do, and as demand increases all it means is that wait time increases but quality remains the same.

Cali Raised LEDs has been advertising theirs as of late.

Cali Raised LED 5th and 4th Gen Sliders!!!!!!

I think they look great, have some nice options, reasonably priced, and they say they’re in stock. Definitely on my short list because they have a config that I’m after.

Ah, sorry. Didn’t see which generation vehicle you were driving. Apologies.

I’ll throw some love at shrockworks. I ordered mine on the backside of a big group buy and still received them under 6 weeks. Excellent welds, easy enough bolt on install. More than enough stout hardware. I bought the step style. My elders appreciate them and I think they are the best looking functional “step” style sliders available.
