Quality lug nuts!

Let's talk lug nuts for a minute.. I am struggling with finding a set of Quality lug nuts that will work with my ARP Extended-Length wheel studs.

My requirements:
-Open faced lugs is a must
- Black in color
- 12x1.5

I tried a set of gorillas open-ended 12x1.5's, and straight out of the packaging, one of my ARP studs got ruined (lug boogered the threads up, and yes- I started it by hand and didnt use an impact). After searching, this is super common. The threads had paint on them, and it was just overall a major fail.

Moving on..

Muteki (amazon). Looks great, but they're reported to be super soft metal. Nah.

Moving on..

Crap.. Can't seem to find Quality open-faced lug nuts to fit extended studs?!

Is it just me?

I got mine from allpro. they are the ET style. not sure if they would work for you.

Extended Thread Lug Nuts - M12x1.5MM

if you want them black, you'll probably need to paint them.

however, im running some closed black lug nuts, they don't stay black. they chip off after a few tire rotations...

not sure where you are getting this info from, but i have used these a bunch of times on previous cars and never had a problem. they arent aluminum. theyre not soft. buy these. ive ran them on ARP studs with zero issues. these are basically the lugnut you buy in the tuner world.

the only down side is how long they take to thread onto arp studs. i would get them started by hand and then take an impact to run them in, stop when they get snug, tq by hand.
