Yup. That was on my parts list when I did my valve cover gaskets. The old one was hard as a rock and seeping.

Neat! Wouldn't have occurred to me to replace it. I'd venture to say the 250K gasket on mine is done.

Adding this to my list. Thanks for sharing!

That old hard as nails gasket was a bugger to get out of the oil fill cap when I replaced mine last year.

Replaced mine yesterday. Old gasket was hard as granite. I used a small pick to remove it.

Could actually feel the cap making a seal on the valve cover with the new gasket.

for like $10 bucks you can get a new cap with the gasket already in place. I was lazy and just did the new cap. there is nothing like that new oil fill cap smell.

Just did the seal myself, too. Old one was a pita to get out and hard as a rock. But the new one looks to be sealing now!

I'm not paying $12 for shipping on one item from them. Most of their parts are cheaper than US dealers, but it's worth price checking for me. Thanks for the part number. I found it cheaper with shipping elsewhere.
