Who is still using their LCE Short Shifter?

Thinking of getting one for Black Friday. But wanted to know if anyone has had any problems with theirs over time.

Basically whats the longevity problems if there are any and how long have you had yours?

I heard mixed info even to the point of the shifter ball breaking off for some installs over time.

I have one on my W56 3RZ. Have had it for nearly 2 years. Still works perfect.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one. What I really like is that it uses the stock shifter which dampens vibration and noise.

After your install did you notice any type of new noise?

I didn’t really. The only tiny vibe was from the vinyl boot itself being stretched a bit and itching on the shifter. With a bit of rearrangement it stopped.

Thanks. LCE is taking an extra 10% off. Plus it seems like a more complete kit. Comes with a new bushing, seat and red loctite.

They both seem to be the same also in terms of engineering.
