Ditch light brackets of choice as if 2019

Hey guys, what ditch light brackets are the go to now days? I see the rago's are on sale and also see that...they... "don't" require trimming, or do they? I keep finding conflicting information...

I really don't want to do any trimming unless it's totally mandatory.

I don't have an answer for you, but I don't know how they would mount and not require trimming back the plastic cowl valence a bit. It's non-invasive and easily reversable with a cheap junkyard part so don't worry about it.

Pretty sure I didn't have to do any trimming when installing my Rago brackets. I would highly recommend them.

The rago's appear to bolt to the hood arms and tuck along side them, or something. It says "minimal" but other websites say "zero" cutting. Haha

Rago's site say "trimming required", and forum members say no trimming?

Rago probably says minimal cutting to cover their ass. Either that, or they just copied-pasted the description from another description, for a different vehicle, that might actually require trimming and just didn't catch it. Just watch the video on their website, literally no trimming shown in it. The only other option is CBI, which does in fact require trimming.

I've got the ditch light brackets from SRQ Fabrications (if I remember right, they're actually made by True North Fab) and honestly would advise against them. They require two holes drilled into each side's A-pillar for four holes total. Not only is it not fun unnecessarily drilling holes into the body, but my weather stripping is getting pretty shitty in that spot due to being rubbed wrong by the mounts.

I have them on my truck and there was no trimming required.
And as JWaldz said the video on their site doesn't show any trimming.

Well I've been finding mixed information. The site says minimal, some other sites say none. Some folks online say a little and some say none... Haha
