Gobi Stealth Rack - Hi Lift Attachment - Experience, Issues, Problems?

Hello All,

Thinking of buying this for my hi-lift, but the attached pic from Gobi's web site (Gobi rep confirmed this is how mine will mount) gives me pause due to how close the lift is to the vehicle. Seems like any kind of rough terrain would allow the lift to contact the vehicle.

Any members use this method to carry a hi-lift? Is it secure with no movement across all types of terrain?

Thanks,

Eddie

could you flip it upside down? as long as you have the handle holder majigger i wouldnt think it would be a concern but maybe it would still be close.

I trimmed 3 inches off my hi-lift and it now fits perfectly between the hatch and back seat upright.
